**IO_VariableResistor=Shift-Register+LEDs** Download 74HC595 spec sheet from Spark Fun: [http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/IC/SN74HC595.pdf](http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/IC/SN74HC595.pdf) Fritzing diagram below would hardly make sense without the spec sheet because of the number of components packed in such a small breadboard. Basically, QA - QH connects to individual LEDs, and each LED connects to a resistor. **IMPORTANT** - Please note that "+" side of all LEDs is at the left hand side in the diagram.
