This sketch is missing a short description
Three LED mushrooms controlled by an IR proximity sensor. The TCRT4000 is meant for measuring RPM of motor shafts, or allowing a line following robot to stay on track, so its range is not that large. With this sketch, it senses a finger or hand from about 1.5 inches away. There is a switch statement in the code where the main loop goes into one of three states. I suggest you experiment with it and discover how it works, it's not too complicated. I didn't make the video below, but it provided inspiration for the project.<span style="display:block;text-align:center;"><iframe width="450" height="380" src="https://123d.circuits.io/circuits/1764627-3-mushroom-lights/edit#schematic/embed" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no"></iframe></span> <span style="display:block;text-align:center;"><iframe width="300" height="169" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/D5LjGFkpApw?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></span>
